Dr.Arora was a big part of my husbands cancerous tumor excision and the following skin graft surgery for wound care. Dr. Arora expertly managed the wound, a 4-inch diameter deep wound. As part of recovery, plastic surgery to cover the wound with a skin graft was required. Dr. Aroras expertise really shone through, from the day my husband left the hospital (same day as surgery) through to getting the leg brace and wound vac removed and then getting the skin graft in place and healed. He was very available to answer phone calls from a panicked wife and to explain proper wound care procedures. Additionally, his office staff from nurse Brenda to front desk helper Celeste were very warm and helpful and available. I would highly recommend Dr. Arora for any plastic surgery needs. He is an accomplished surgeon and a very nice person.

My dermatologist referred me to Dr. Aurora for excision of melanoma. Though it was diagnosed at an early stage, I still had to have wide excision on my hip, lower buttock and shoulder. As a woman, I was concerned about scarring and post-op care. As a former safety manager for a large hospital system and having worked in a surgical practice, I was mindful of the risks associated with undergoing general anesthesia. Dr. Aurora and his staff were exceptional. They explained everything along the way and made me feel at ease, confident and safe throughout the entire experience. Dr. Aurora listened to my needs, took the time to address all my concerns and answered every question in detail before, during and after the procedure. He and his staff were incredibly personable and took care of everything for me - from re-dressing my wounds in the days after surgery to making sure I had the right prescriptions and all follow-up reports and, finally, providing me with at-home tips on how to care for my scars. At present, my scars are healing well and I have no residual evidence of melanoma. I've known many surgeons during my career and Dr. Aurora is among the best - not only for his surgical skill, but also for his compassion and caring approach.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Arora. His professionalism is matched by his genuine care for his patients! He has been with me since my double mastectomy in 2016. For my third surgery, he completed several steps to assist in pain management, allow for better healing and improve function of areas effected by radiation. I went to Dr. Arora for an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair. I lost over 100 lbs and had a lot of excess skin in my abdominal area. I am one month out from my surgery and only wish I would have done it sooner! The whole experience has been wonderful. Dr. Arora is so kind, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Aroras practice is the hidden gem in Chevy chase Maryland. I grow up in this area and I have had my share of bad experience with marginal results from acclaimed practices. Dr Arora and his staff are AMAZING! We first met Dr. Arora at Stafford Hospital back in October when my husband had to be taken into emergency surgery. He was hit in the leg by a fast pitch softball when our daughter was practicing before her game. This trauma caused compartment syndrome in his leg which landed him in the hospital for one month where he had 10 surgeries. Dr. Tanner, the surgeon that initially did the first few surgeries to save his leg, brought in Dr. Arora to take on the daunting task of grafting skin and finally closing his leg. We are so glad that he chose him. His meticulous attention to detail and bedside manner are phenomenal. He made sure we were updated regularly and that all of our questions were answered. My husband just had his stitches removed this week and we can't thank Dr. Arora and his staff for the stellar care we have and continue to receive.
