I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2020. After doing my research to find a plastic surgeon to work with restoring my breasts I came across Dr. Joseph Zakhary and trust me he was the BEST find ever. I could not ask for a better person that I want to go with me on this journey, and as an added bonus he just so happens to be a plastic surgeon. Win win for me si far and when you are fighting a battle, you need all the wins you can get.Dr. Zakhary as a person is compassionate, ethical and actually passionate about his work. You realize this when you first speak with him. But what I really love and appreciate about Dr. Zakhary is how he reassures me. He tells me to stop worrying and relax. I had an incident where everything was going bad so I called him to tell him. I said 'so i guess our next plan of action is.....' to which his response was 'no our next plan of action is for you to relax and let us do our job and our job is to take care of you so let us do that.' It was the best thing he could have ever said no me and really what I meed to hear.I highly recommend Elite Plastic Surgery and Dr. Joseph Zakhary to anyone who wants to feel great about the Doctor they chose to work on their bodies. I wish I was in a position to just want elective plastic surgery without any of the cancer drama I have. Dr. Matatov is very caring, nice and friendly. He explains every step along the way thoroughly. He asked me if I have any questions about anything. He's very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. He is an expert in what he does! When I meet him for the first visit I get the feeling of he is a serious person and at my second visit he proved me wrong I could see his welcoming, funny and caring side! I have to say he's very direct and honest! I Greatly appreciate his honesty!! My breast surgeon recommended Dr. Matatov because I had to go for bilateral mastectomy and I chose to do DIEP Flap for the reconstruction. I did my research and talked to few doctors and one of his patient and she was really happy with what he did for her. From the beginning to ending f my appointment, amazing team work. The office is beautiful and smells really clean and nice. Dr. Torabi was great. I can finally see a light in my tunnel. I had my first consultation with him yesterday and I don't have any doubt that he will be doing an amazing job on me and can perfectly see what I need without explaining what was wrong. I have a horrible reconstruction and was sick and tired of looking at my breat. After having an MRI and finding out that one of my implants has been erupted I felt like this was my way out of this trauma. After crying and thinking what I would feel without looking normal, i did not know what to do. After my consultation yesterday I have so much hope to see my breast pretty again. I seriously got in my car and cried of happiness all the way home. My son was in the car with me and he was even happy, and told me, mom does this mean you won't be depressed no more? Truly exceptional is all i can say! This was my second visit to see Dr. Tim Matatov to have a procedure done in office and i cant believe my results as well as professionalism i got from him & his whole staff. My first visit I had Eyelid surgery or Blepharoplasty done in office at my request since i am not a fan of going under and the results were amazing, very natural look just after a few weeks, exactly what i wanted which was to take weight off my eyelid and not look like i had any work done.I was so impressed with the work of Dr. Matatov that half a year later I had to fly out to Arizona again from Dallas to see him for my other issue I have had bothering me which was gynecomastia (breast tissue I had developed in my right breast) which was also done in office under local anesthesia. He did an amazing job once again and after 3 weeks I cant even tell I had a surgery other then some healing pain on the inside of my breast. A week later he personally called me to tell me that the specimen removed was non cancerous which was a huge relief since my sister had breast cancer at age 25 and I lost my mother to cancer as well.Thank you Dr Matatov for doing amazing work and your staff for taking good care of me! Class act of a doctor and I would recommend you to anyone!!!

As a 37-year-old womyn battling advanced breast cancer, I have spent the last year and a half working with eight different doctors and four different hospitals (all with additional doctors of their own). I initially had a difficult time finding a doctor who was qualified to perform the complicated type of reconstructive surgery that I specifically needed. In fact, it turned out that Dr. Tim Matatov was the only doctor in the state of Arizona who knew how to perform TUG Flap surgeries. Dr. Matatov ended up being an absolute godsend. He is brilliant, experienced, compassionate, personable, detail-oriented, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure his patients get the individualized care that they need. I've never had a doctor come visit me in the hospital every single day of the week - INCLUDING Saturday and Sunday. I've never had a doctor personally contact me multiple times a week to check on the status of my post-surgery symptoms. I've never had a doctor work so hard to convince my health insurance that they needed to cover a particular procedure for me. This individualized care is also provided by every single employee at the Aesthetic/Restorative Breast Center (a.k.a. Elite Plastic Surgery). From personalized phone calls, to flexibility with scheduling, to quick turnaround in completing work- and health insurance-related paperwork, to simply providing genuinely caring interactions every time I go into the office, I have found this facility to be filled with staff who sincerely care about their patients and who go out of their way to SHOW that they care. I have absolutely no complaints about this business or any of its employees.
