A Whole New Confidence Tummy Tuck and Muscle Repair People who judge or look down on people who opt for plastic surgery have no idea why people decide to go through with it. As a result of carrying five children, the last two were twins, I developed a severe hernia, a muscle tear and extremely stretched skin. This is also known as diastasis recti..No matter what I did, no matter how much I worked out or wore spanx..my hernia was so severe I looked 6 months pregnant all the time. My confidence was gone. One day, my friend Keri who also suffered from DR, said she was going to get the problem fixed with Dr Kenneth Hughes. Her results were amazing! I booked with Dr. Hughes shortly after for a tummy tick and Hernia repair. The front office staff is beyond sweet.. such exceptional customer service!! They were so patient and answered all my questions. Dr Hughes also went above and beyond to answer all my questions via email and to reassure me. The day of my surgery, I was pretty nervous.. but everyone there from the receptionist, to the nurses made me feel extremely comfortable and calmed my nerves.The days after recovery were a little challenging, but Dr Hughes office provides a nursing service that you can utilize and the nurse I had was so kind. Dr Hughes also personally called me to answer any questions I had. You wont find that with many plastic surgeons.. he really does care about his patients.Now Im one month post op and I am amazed at my results! I can confidently wear a bikini again, not have to shop in the maternity section for clothes any more because of a bulging hernia and my self esteem is higher than its ever been! And the amazing thing is that typically with a tummy tuck and muscle repair it can take up to 6 months to see your results.. but Im already seeing amazing results at just one month post op! Dr. Kenneth B. Hughes did liposuction by transfer fat from my arms to specific area. Its was so difficult, because unusual situation. He did nice job and I am happy with my results. Dr Hughes is amazing!!!! Very confident, knowledgeable and talented at his profession. He will not sugar coat info and tells it like it is, which I appreciate as I as want the facts without fluff. He was patient as I came in three times for consultation visits before booking surgery. In doing so I was extremely comfortable as I booked my procedures. Which were the Inferior Butt Lift (not BBL) and replacement of my oval butt implants to round implants, along with removal and replacement of my ruptured silicone breast implants with lollipop lift. Everyone is his office is very nice and the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. After the surgery he has been prompt in replying to any issues, via email. It is hard to describe Dr Hughes work, he is an amazing Surgeon but most of all he is a true artist. What he dose is an art work, He is very gentle with every part of the body. I have seen many other surgeons but no one was so truthful and honest as Dr Hughes I always take his advice and never regret it.His office staff are very sweet and friendly, you feel like they are a member of your own family. Abdominal Lipo : Dr. Ken Hughes and his staff was awesome. Everyone was professional, kind, friendly and helpful. Mrs. Lorena was my go to person shes amazing. Dr Hughes is a good listener, very personable and likable. He is overall a good person. He responds to my emails very promptly when I have questions or concerns giving me peace of mind. Ive had silicone injections to my buttocks some years ago. Luckily, I had no major complications such as infection or a major deformity. A couple of years ago, I decided to have it removed. Unfortunately, not everything could be removed as that would be impossible. Also, the lost volume left me with excess skin at the bottom of my buttocks. I had the excess skin excised a couple times in my local area but I was not satisfied with the result. This year, I searched for a doctor who had more expertise on the derrire area and thats when I found Dr. Hughes. Professionally, Dr Hughes is highly skilled and a perfectionist. He presented a couple options to tackle my problem and he provided the pros and cons for each option. He allowed me the chance to ask questions and after discussing what was best for my needs, my decision to go with a particular option was done, even with the understanding that it isnt the best method to excise and lift my buttocks. The pricing was very competitive given the complexity of my problem. Overall, the goal of my surgery was realistically met. I definitely plan on going back to Dr. Hughes for additional revisions or tweaks needed.

He is one of a kind..he is an amazing surgeon with artistic mind. He did a beautiful job on my rihynoplasty, i can't describe how happy i am with the result, i had no pain not much of swelling and bruising, when he took off the tapes after 7 days no one could tell that i had surgery at all, he also did fat transfer to my lips and my laugh line and i love the result ,the swelling of the lips last only for 7 days..he also did calf augmentation (fat transfer) and the result is great, amazingly this surgery was painles too.fat transfer to calf can cuase swelling but i didn't experience pain and i know that's because of his soft touch.i am so happy that i chose him .he doesn't do anything that put your health in danger, he is careful and he has good eye so trust him and be comfortable with his decisions because if you ask for something that is not possible he will tell you the truth. Truly he is one of the best surgeon in Los Angels.

Finding a Plastic Surgeon who will give you an honest answer and is truly knowledgeable, is not an easy task. I had two prior consultations with two different surgeons in Beverly Hills and one in the San Fernando Valley before I met with Dr. Hughes. I knew, at the moment I started speaking with Dr. Hughes, that he was going to be my surgeon. My case was a complicated case. I had my breast done five times prior and my right breast had encapsulated once again and it had very little natural tissue left. It was painful and deformed in its appearance. In addition to my breast I wanted to add some fullness to my backside (bbl) and have a tummy tuck done and some liposuction done. A long list. Dr. Hughes listened to what I wanted and in turn gave me honest feedback. He did not, as some other doctors had, tell me that my breast would be an easy fix. He told me the truth and gave me honest expectations. I knew my case was serious and I knew that I did not want to have to undergo another breast revision. I did extensive research on my own about my breast capsular contracture and I sent Dr. Hughes many e-mails with all of the different procedures that I had found. Dr. Hughes graciously answered all of my e-mails and was way ahead of any research that I had found. Dr. Hughes is on top of his field and he is very well educated and aware of all the procedures and techniques out there! I was also concerned about doing a tummy tuck and bbl together but Dr. Hughes was confident about doing all these procedures at once. Many doctors will not do all of these procedures at one time but my results are prove that it can be done. I must also comment on the surgery room of Dr. Hughes. I advise people to look at the surgery room where their surgery will take place. I have had surgery done in Beverly Hills and other locations and no other surgery center has such updated equipment. Dr. Hughes has one of the best, if not the best, surgery room I have ever seen. Dr. Hughes did not cut any corners when he built his surgery room and it shows! His staff is there to help you and if your lucky enough you may have a chance to meet his loving parents who are there at times working in their son's office. I know choosing a surgeon is not easy, but I am confident in referring Dr. Hughes to my family and friends. When your deciding on a surgeon, think, does the surgeon put safety first, is the surgeon confident, how knowledgeable is the surgeon, will the surgeon be honest and give you realistic expectations, can you ask any question you want and will you be able to go back for check ups with no problem. Dr. Hughes definitely puts safety first and he is confident, knowledgeable, honest and you can ask him any question regarding your procedure and he will see you after your procedure many times. Surgery is incredible and the changes that it can make in people's lives goes without saying but it is still surgery and we must remember that all surgery is serious so choose your surgeon wisely and have realistic expectations. My results are better than what I envisioned and they keep getting better as I heal. I am at about four months post-op and I am very happy with my results! Dr. Huges is the best at what he does. I had bodytite and revision done to my stomach area. When I came home and seen that the lump was gone in the first day I was so grateful. The bodytite started to look really good at day 6 and I'm supposed to get even better within 6 months. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I have renamed Dr Hughes 'The fat whisperer'.To be honest im profoundly elated by the results Dr Hughes gave me on my revision BBL,he sculpt what the previous surgeon failed to do.I do not know where he found the fat on me.Best surgeon,highly skilled,genius and an artist in his own league.In a few hours i was off my pain medication,minimal to no bruising and my scars looks like mosquitoe bites,barely visible.Thank you!

I can whole- heartedly say that Dr. Hughes is one of the most genuine and highly skilled surgeons, I've encountered. I came to him after being botched and mis- treated, so much so, I trusted no one and vowed to live insecure and unhappy, until I found Dr. Hughes. I took a chance and emailed him my story with a photo. He answered me an hour later with a plan he had to achieve my goals.The day I met with him, he was very mindful of my requests and made me feel as important as a family member. He invested lots of time going over my surgery, pre + post op care for optimal healing. I followed it religiously and my outcome exceeded my own expectations! Wow, great doctor, very personable and approachable in correspondence, I love that, such a convenience since I live in Sacramento. I had BodyTite, I choose Dr. Hughes over four other doctor's because of his experience, integrity and the cost for four areas that required BodyTite are moderate, heaven sent to find a scrupulous doctor and such a quintessential trait (one doctor quoted me $10,000 per area + $350 for consultation + additional fees for the operating room + anesthesia = GREEDY) and I only have 3' of extra skin, after viewing before/after pictures, and Dr. Kenneth's knowledge of liposuction, made my decision very easy, not just anyone can do calves, a few doctor's stated they would leave my calves alone, just deal with the loose skin, not Dr. Hughes, the epitome of knowledge. Lorena, the patient coordinator made scheduling, payment and the explanation of policies a breeze. The RN and anesthesiologist, very engaging, personable and pleasant. AND to the RN thank you VERY much for taking the time to have my driver follow you to the Sheraton, it doesn't get any kinder or better than that!(I hope to post after pictures in six months)

i just want to take the time to write this review so everyone is aware of what they are about to do. I wanted butt implants originally to make my butt bigger because im a small petite girl. Instead since that is dangerous Dr.Hughes gave me a BBL. Its been 3 months after recovering and to be honest i look the same!!!! I am very upset and in disbelief. I spent so much money on the procedure thinking it'll be worth it! but it was not! and i regret every minute of it. Alot of people ask me 'you got a bbl? but you look the same.' And now i see it. Please, if you have no fat, slim, or skinny and want a bigger butt, save your money and get it some where else cheaper.

This review is the first time I have been so moved and inspired to write a review of this nature. I hope it helps you on your journey to select an MD. There are thousands of medical professionals, but none has help up against my working with Dr. Kenneth Hughes. He came into my life when I was in a deep depression, from having my body butchered by a horrible MD. A ton of promises, and in the end I was forever changed. I was diagnosed with a rare disease, Sarcoidosis. This disease affects all parts of your body and brought on early stage lung cancer. Stage 1, aggressive but thank God -- benign. I had tumors removed from various areas of my body, my entire left auxiliary lymphatic system removed as well as parts of my right and areas on my chest. The reconstructive doctor promised he could get me looking normal again and that he was a specialist. An office in Beverly Hills, and a million and one claims about his skills. Before we went in for surgery we had numerous calls and in person meetings. Again, he made all promises but no truths about his capability. He placed implants in my chest and promised to have me looking normal in no time. When I woke up, I was butchered. Scars on both sides of my chest, my stomach no longer had a naval and I looked more like Frankenstein than a man. My implants moved in 360%I should start about what I like most, and what you will like should you decide to hire Dr. Kenneth Hughes. He is humble, and honest to a fault. He evaluated me and told me what he thought he could do. I had a long list of wishes, so it may have been hard to hear but he was honest about what he could; maybe be able to do and what would be a long shot. No expectations that led me to think I would come out of surgery perfect, but in my opinion pretty close. But after a few detailed conversations, I scheduled my appointment and went for it. I woke up and at just over 8 weeks sit here with a body that I am actually happy with. I got my navel back, which was a far shot and my chest looking like a chest. With this I feel like Dr. Hughes is my MD. You may not need reconstructive surgery, perhaps just something cosmetic but it is so important to say that this physician did things that even famous MDs (like those from BOTCHED) and others wouldnt do, because I was so butchered and the list was long. I followed his post-op instructions without deviation. This physician know the body and gives 110 %Dr. Kenneth Hughes is professional and does everything to ensure you are walking into your surgery with very real expectations and in my case and some of the hundreds listed here, OVER DELIVERS. He replies directly to emails and texts and is a support for you until you get to where you want to be or where he can take you. In this environment, it is nearly impossible to get someone who just doesnt say yes and take your money only to leave you mildly satisfied. I do need to go back for a minor revision, and I have found Dr. Hughes to continue to keep me in a realistic and hopeful place. His pricing is competitive, and he will work with you as best as he can. I am actually looking forward to the revision with Dr. Hughes and if any of you reading this needs a personal reference, email me. He is worth every penny and more. He takes the process from consultation; to surgery day and recovery so seriously he is very much vested in your healing and optimal outcomes. From diet and what you can and should not to do, to ensure the result is as good as you will get, He is your support network. He is the real deal and tells you up front what you can expect from him and his staff. He is masterful and I am so grateful that I ended up in his office. You are in good hands with Dr. Hughes. He seems to be a man of few words, but lets be honest its not the words but his skills and your outcome that matters. And when it comes to that, you are with the right MD!

Dr. Hughes is an amazing doctor!! He was always very honest and straight up with me. But he still got exactly what I wanted for my body! He gave me hips, a slim waist and thin arms.
