The Dr. is calm and had eye contact with us in discussing my options to best meet my need of pain and electrical sensation in my legs..He's kick back like he had no where else to be.. His PA seems to be taking our conversation down and what was decided.. Leaving the room I was handed a folder with the explanation of the procedure and what recovery would be.. I'm expecting a call from Jessica who schedules surgery in the next few days!!

Dr. Khurana diagnosed his problems using the most progressive equipment and his own experience, recommended treatment, brought other experienced surgeons in to help with two very complicated and extensive surgeries. Now, nine months later, my husband in absolutely pain free, 1-1/2' taller because his spine has been straightened, and is able to do those day-to-day activities that are part of our lives. I chose Dr. Khurana from three other neck surgeons on my research list. Im so happy I did! Im one week post cervical fusion and disc replacement surgery and I can feel the difference already. His personality and kindness of time to explain the surgery and answer all my questions allowed me to make my decision and go into surgery with no fear or anxiety. His staff is amazing and on point and the surgery center nurses and anesthesiologists were 1st class. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the greatest. Hes a 10! Dr. Khurana communicated very well and laid out surgical treatment option. Id done physical therapy with out improvement, and he evaluated my MRI and x-rays with a experts eye. My critical issues were degenerative spondylolisthesis and stenosis that together had come to make walking more than a couple hundred feet difficult with dangerous potential for a bad fall.Dr. Khurana explained his surgical approach and I knew Id found the right surgeon. As he explained, hes a spine specialist; thats all he does. He uses a minimally invasive approach that makes the surgery much less traumatic for his patients (but probably more technically challenging for the surgeon). Id been scared of front and back access approaches Id read about that involved extensive dissection, so I was greatly relieved.In my case, I had minimal post-operative pain, (just used cold packs a few times) and one week post-op Im walking well (with a walker for safety for a few more days) and a back brace to remind me not to Bend, Lift or Twist. Im very happy with results so far!Im very happy with the results so far.

So my aunt had an appointment on the 29th but they called her telling her to come earlier the 27th at 4:30pm so she went and got there earlier, filled all her paperwork and the waiting started. Whenever she asks his assistant she would say yes wait you're next then at around 5:45P, my aunt went up again asking when will the doctor be seeing her and the assistant rudely raised both her voice and hands and told her 'WELL RESCHEDULE' and slammed the door on her!!!

Dr. Khurana listen to me when all other surgeons would blow me off in to pain management. He fixed me to a better me. Am I complete fix no, but I'm a better me. Quality of life is better. It's manageable now. He gave me back a better me. I thank him every day for being the one of doctor that does not have a God complex. Dr. Khurana was one of the most amazing physicians I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only was he thoughtful, attentive, understanding, compassionate, but also vested in my recovery. He listened to my questions, I never felt rushed, and he was always there to ease my concerns and help me through my treatment. My spinal injury was a multi-year debacle and I was basically an invalid. Being in my mid-twenties, it was more than depressing not being able to do what I wanted to physically.
