When I first walked in I knew this was the surgeon I would go with. The staff is incredible and always goes above and beyond. When I booked my rhinoplasty surgery I was overwhelmed with tears of joy. They have an excellent payment plan paying 70 percent then after 3 monthly payments with no extra fees. Dr hopping is very generous he gave me a discount when I wasn't expecting it. He also went out of his way on Thanksgiving day to fix up an issue I was having. Appointments are quick and they always do everything they possibly can to make sure appointments accomadate my work schedule. Very little waiting time in office.

Dr. Hopping was the only plastic surgeon that actually first assessed my surgery and whether or not I actually needed it (he said I didnt NEED it, but I went through with it because I wanted it). He was very thorough in the assessment and took pictures, augmented photos, traced my features back to my heritage, and met with me more than once before the procedure. He also showed me a binder of photos of all the surgeries hes done on my specific surgery, and went through them to see what I wanted and didnt want. His office is very nice and in the West End of DC. He was able to get my surgery in on the timeline I wanted, which was a plus for me. I researched him quite throughly, hes the only doctor in the area I found that was board certified, he is also a clinical professor at George Washington University. Before I went to him, I saw two other doctors who just took quick photos of me, photoshopped it, and priced a heavy fee on me. I knew right away when I was with Dr. Hopping that he was the right surgeon for me. The surgery went very smoothly, I basically went under and woke up looking different. That night he called me to check on me, and they also wouldnt let me leave the surgery center until I had someone I knew come up and escort me out (with the help of his staff). They also worked with me financially on my payments, and the staff has checked up on me and made follow-up appointments. The recovery process was fast and I had all the appropriate items for it to heal smoothly. Im very happy with the outcome, and although you can see a big difference, most people havent noticed that I had a major plastic surgery done, which is how a plastic surgeon should perform his work. Plastic surgery can be a sensitive choice, but Im glad I went through with it, it has changed my confidence drastically.

Amazing results! I have been a patient of Dr. Hopping for over a year for both surgical and non-surgical procedures and I could not be happier. Dr. Hopping is a master. He modeled the options for my surgical procedure on the screen so we could discuss the nuances of the changes I wanted. Once I made my decision to move forward, I had great options for scheduling the procedure. Post-procedure care was terrific - I felt very cared for and the office had excellent communication. My results look so natural that my relatives didn't even notice. So far only two friends have caught on. I could not be happier! As far as the non-surgical procedures, again, looks entirely natural - my husband says I look so rested lately and my coworkers ask what moisturizers I use. I would recommend 100x over.

I recently had an s-lift with a chin implant. I couldn't be happier with the experience or the results. I look pretty much the same, just refreshed and with a waaaaay better profile. I no longer dread catching myself sideways in a mirror. And the recovery was surprisingly easy. I just stayed in the hotel across the street from his office for a few days (I live almost 4 hours from DC) and then went home to my regular schedule--minus exercise. This was actually the second surgery I'd had with Dr. Hopping. My dermatologist sent me to him 10 years ago for my drooping forehead and eyes, which were causing headaches. He performed a browlift and also did my upper lids. Not only did my headaches go away (b/c I was no longer straining to keep my eyes open) but I looked ten years younger. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Hopping as a plastic surgeon. I think the world of him and his team.

I had my first plastic surgery in 2003. It was not with Dr. Hopping - HUGE mistake. The plastic surgeon did not listen to my requests and instead did what he wanted to do. Rather than fix my wrinkled eyelids he performed a forehead lift! I also wanted to rid myself of an ugly double chin. He preformed liposuction under my chin which left me with sagging ridges and wrinkles under my chin. Neither procedure solved the problems. After 13 years of living with the unsatisfactory results I made an appointment with Dr. Hopping based on the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Hopping put me at ease from our first meeting. I told him about my past experience and what I wanted to correct. We talked about expectations. He showed me before and after pictures of his patients who had similar surgery as I was planning.The day of surgery he and I talked about the surgery in the waiting room - what was going to happen and what I should expect. Later, after I had changed into the gown and talked to the nurse anesthesiologist, he came into the examination room and we talked some more. He then walked me to the operating room all the while providing encouragement.The results are so natural. I look 10 years younger. If I did not tell anyone that I had this surgery they wouldnt know. I LOVE having a smooth chin - no ridges, no fat! No bags under my eyes and no wrinkled eyelids when I put on my eye shadow!One of my greatest fears besides pain and bruising was nausea. Given that I do not react well to any medication with codeine and I was concerned about a reaction to any anesthesia or pain killers. No need to fear. They listened to all my concerns and I did not suffer any bad effects. I had minimal bruising and pain.Dr. Hoppings staff is superb, the front office, nurses, nurse anesthesiologist. All took great care of me! I am so pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hopping to anyone contemplating plastic surgery.

I visited Dr. Hopping for a hair transplant. There were two appointments before the procedure during which he explained everything, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Hopping is an artist in cosmetic surgery. I have a friend who chose Dr. Hopping after doing extensive research in and around Washington D. c. She had facial cosmetic surgery and she looks great! I have since changed my name, but in 2012 I had liposuction on my stomach, flanks, arms, and face with Dr Hopping while he worked with another surgeon to do a breast augmentation. Dr Hopping chose to do liposuction on my stomach as well as sculpting. The results of the liposuction on my stomach was disastrous. My belly button was ruined and scarring under the skin from the 'sculpting' was uneven and caused lumps and ripples on my stomach. He said that he took out as much fat that was advised. However, no fat on the top part of my stomach had been touched, which caused a fat roll. When I told Dr Hopping about the fat roll he denied neglecting the top part of my stomach and dismissed me when I complained about the rippling. I was so depressed about my appearance and the wasted money that I gave up hope and I have been living with it ever since. It has affected what clothes I can wear, my self-confidence, and being intimate with my husband. I have not talked about this publicly until now. Maybe this will help someone else.

Several months ago I opted to have Dr. Hopping's Thermage procedure for a sagging neck line in lieu of a neck lift for budgetary reasons. I was quite impressed with the manner that his staff performed this procedure. It was non invasive and painless with no tell tale incision scars. And the best of all, the improvements on my neckline 'sags' gradually diminished over time and there weren't radical changes which would have prompted comments from family and friends on a sudden change in my appearance. I just had a follow up visit with Dr. Hopping and was quite impressed with the 'before and after' photos of my face. Dr. Hopping was very pleasant as everyone says. I just wonder what their outcomes were. I only care about the final product. I could care less about a nice conversation. I had a very disappointing outcome and 9 years later still have tingling in my face, neck and ears-only right side though. I have trouble sleeping because if this sensation. I still suffer from watery eyes and bald spots among other issues. I looked older and more wrinkled after my fat injections failed -6 weeks after. The brow lift did not work at all and neither did the platysmoplasty . The good thing is you could 'barely' tell I had a thing done accept for looking a little older , the scars, and my smile is more forced and crooked. I totally regret my decision every day for 9 years now!

I never thought that I would get plastic surgery in my life, in fact, I was an enabler of the stigma surrounding the practice. I went in for a rhinoplasty (nose job) consult as anxious as could be. However, Dr. Hopping and his lovely staff (shoutout to Susie) made me feel at home. Dr. Hopping explained the procedure to me in great detail and showed me what my new nose would look like. Both of these things helped relieve my anxiety. Come surgery day, I felt incredibly confident putting the future of my face and appearance into his caring and adept hands. My mother traveled from Michigan and received a facial Thermage procedure. She scheduled a follow-up visit to discuss her progress, etc. She was left in a room for over an hour. Twice they told her that he would be right in to see her but he never showed up. Very disappointed.
