Dr. Hopping was the only plastic surgeon that actually first assessed my surgery and whether or not I actually needed it (he said I didnt NEED it, but I went through with it because I wanted it). He was very thorough in the assessment and took pictures, augmented photos, traced my features back to my heritage, and met with me more than once before the procedure. He also showed me a binder of photos of all the surgeries hes done on my specific surgery, and went through them to see what I wanted and didnt want. His office is very nice and in the West End of DC. He was able to get my surgery in on the timeline I wanted, which was a plus for me. I researched him quite throughly, hes the only doctor in the area I found that was board certified, he is also a clinical professor at George Washington University. Before I went to him, I saw two other doctors who just took quick photos of me, photoshopped it, and priced a heavy fee on me. I knew right away when I was with Dr. Hopping that he was the right surgeon for me. The surgery went very smoothly, I basically went under and woke up looking different. That night he called me to check on me, and they also wouldnt let me leave the surgery center until I had someone I knew come up and escort me out (with the help of his staff). They also worked with me financially on my payments, and the staff has checked up on me and made follow-up appointments. The recovery process was fast and I had all the appropriate items for it to heal smoothly. Im very happy with the outcome, and although you can see a big difference, most people havent noticed that I had a major plastic surgery done, which is how a plastic surgeon should perform his work. Plastic surgery can be a sensitive choice, but Im glad I went through with it, it has changed my confidence drastically.

Dr. Hopping is a nice man with great bedside manner and is a skilled surgeon. I had been going to another practice for fillers, threads and chemical peels for 3-4 years. At 71, nothing seemed to change the wrinkles that were settling into my skin on a daily basis. I was referred to Dr. Hopping by a family member. As soon as we began talking about my wanting a refreshed look, he got it. Together we discussed what would be best in terms of the procedures I needed and wanted. I'm so happy with the results and my husband is too!! Dr. Hopping and his staff were friendly and very helpful with post surgery questions, responding quickly.It's taken as least 20 years off of my appearance and I'm getting a lot of compliments from friends and family. They say I look natural and refreshed and that was my goal. Dr. Hopping helped me achieve that goal.
