My 78 year old mother, was recently referred to Doctor Scott's office. I was pleasantly pleased, with the staff and Doctor Scott's attentiveness to my mothers needs. He took the time to answer ALL of her questions, as well and mine. I feel comfortable knowing that she will be well taken care of by Doctor Scott and his staff in the near future.

I posted a review and it didn't post to sum it up again . My surgery caused me to have short bowel syndrome and a heart attack and kidney failure due to no nutrition had to be put on TPN and I lose my job because I was out too long due to this. Dr. Andre Scott did the surgery my family almost lost me. But God saved my life. Thank you for the use of your knowledge but please be more careful with next patient you have to give iliostomy to.

My oldest brother suffered a hernia 20 years ago, recently there was a complication with the mesh that was used in his procedure. Needless to say, my brother couldn't eat for days, could barely stand up and nearly loss his life. Immediately upon arrival at Rockdale Hospital, he had to undergo emergency surgery. He was fine a day or so after surgery, it was the few days after that in which he suffered tremendously. I witnessed my brother in so much pain, he had staples in his stomach, he couldn't eat and he was vomiting 'green' stuff everywhere. Dr. Andre Scott was the physician who cared for my brother. I will let everyone know that my brother would have been dead but for the professional and knowledgeable skills/service of Dr. Scott. He explained everything to my family in a language that we could reasonably understand. He didn't make us feel like idiots because we didn't know 'medical terminology.' He was always accessible even when he wasn't at the hospital. My brother had to stay in the hospital for over 19days. Even during Dr. Scott's off days, he called the hospital/nurses to check on my brother. He simply did not treat us like we were patients, he treated us like family. I am not a fan of hospitals and honestly Im still not; however, Dr. Scott made us feel very comfortable and he eased our pain during this difficult time for my family. Dr. Scott, I cannot Thank You enough for what you have done for my family.

There are so many times I've had bad experiences with doctors it was nice to see someone so passionate about his patients. Dr. Scott took care of my Mom and it was his attention to detail I appreciated most. He was thorough in explaining her treatment plan and what her options were. I also appreciated his follow up care in the hospital. Its good to know doctors that are still passionate about their patients.

I went to him as a referral and once I got theres his staff not so friendly , then he comes into the room he doesnt ask questions just tell me go get the scan , I get the scan and they call me for an appointment I make it , when he receives the scan instead of calling me and tell me my results knowing he was not able to help me, I took the time off and paid a co pay...he send me to another Dr with the same reviews ... unless your desperate dont go there they have other Drs with the same bad reviews I think after this Im headed to Piedmont I left with the same answered I arrived sad

Was very upset with my time at this office. I will start off saying that I did get seen in a timely manner and everyone was pleasant. What really bothered me was I had a referral/ appt to get a cyst off my neck. I had a $50 copay that was fine, what wasn't fine was Dr. Scott seeing me for 10min and telling me that he only likes to do this simple procedure in the hospital. That's fine also but now I paid $50 for him to tell me that when I should be had an appt. At the hospital to get it off NOT a appt for $50 to tell me in 10 whole minutes that I need another appt to take it off. I came to get it off. So now that would be a whole different appt with copay and hospital fee... No thank you. Very disappointed!!!!! Be aware that if you need something done even a little numbing procedure know he won't do it in the office. Save you money and get an appointment at the hospital he does it at so you only have to pay that one time. Terrible office practices... whatever you go in payong just know you will have to pay more. Paid $50 copay but just to see him really costs north of $200. Just for him to tell me he cant do it in that office. So they billed me $177 that my insurance didnt pay. So I'm out of $227 for him telling me I need to make another appt at another place. No thank you.
