After going through extreme weight loss I was faced with a large amount of extra skin. I was very nervous and apprehensive with the thoughts of going through skin removal surgery, but then I met Dr. Ross Cooperman.There are some amazing doctors in this world and Dr. Ross Cooperman is definitely one of them and very high on the list! From the moment he walked into the consultation appointment he gave off a calming and understanding feeling. His bedside manner is above par. He treats his patience with respect, understanding, and care. Dr. Cooperman took his time explaining my procedure, what the expectations were, what recovery will be like, and what to expect afterwards. He answered all of my questions and concerns that I had. His staff is amazing! Attentive to emails and phone calls, I never had to wait long for a response. I always had a positive experience when I was in the office. I dont think I could ever thank Dr. Cooperman enough for giving me the gift of feeling normal again. He truly is an amazing doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. I would recommend his practice over and over again.

When I first met Dr. Ross Cooperman I knew that I could trust his knowledge and surgical expertise to put me back together again. He immediately put me at ease and took his time to explain the process in great detail. He is skilled, diligent, honest, compassionate and a genuinely kind human being. He truly cares for his patients and this is evident in the model of care which he practices; you feel like he is on the journey with you as you progress through various stages of healing. It's clear to see that he loves what he does and wants the best outcome- it's not a bad thing that he's a perfectionist! He is supported by a fabulous office staff which makes the overall experience the best that it can be. Dr Cooperman has an enormous amount of empathy for an unfortunate situation, the way it effects your family and I love that about him. He had encouraging talks with my husband about the road ahead,Double masetetomy at 34 wasn't easy but he made me feel I was getting something as little as a pedicure. Put all my fears aside. My breast surgeon thankfully recommended that I speak to Dr. Cooperman. I was very nervous upon walking into his office...but with great compassion, he explained the procedure in a way that quickly put my mind at ease. He was positive, thoughtful and kind and he made me feel very safe and confident in his expertise. Losing a breast can often lead to depression for many woman...this is something I was concerned about before entering my surgery. Dr.Cooperman made a horrible situation seem like there was a pot of gold waiting for you at the end of the rainbow. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is overwhelming in itself having to make the decision to have a double mastectomy then reconstruction DIEP surgery is mind boggling! Dr. Cooperman made it so easy to feel confident with these decisions, his calm reassuring demeanor helped me make the most important and right decision of my life. From my initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. All of my question were always answered and if I needed to speak with him he promptly returned calls or texts. He is the whole package if only all doctors treated their patients with such respect and humanity, medicine wouldn't be the mess it is today. I have raved to all my friend's and proudly shown his artistry. I am very blessed and thank god everyday that I received the BEST treatment available. Not only is he like this so is his staff, Kerrie has gone above and beyond to help me with appointments insurance and paperwork. It is always a pleasure to go to the office. It is sometimes difficult to find a physician that has the expertise and skills of his specialty and the ability to make you feel at ease in his care. Dr. Cooperman is one of those physicians. His sense of humor and compassion is top notch. He makes you feel like you are the only patient in his practice and takes the time to answer any of your questions and concerns. I have to also say that his office staff makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you make that first call to his office to the continual interaction with them. Summer 2014, I found a lump. My fears were quickly confirmed. After a few different tests, my breast surgeon determined that a mastectomy was the best course of treatment. With a whirlwind of thoughts crowding my head, I called my ob/gyn and asked his opinion on a handful of plastic surgeons. He gave Dr. Cooperman the highest of praise, so I made him my first call. I called and spoke with Kerrie and explained my situation and the need for a quick appointment. My intention was to meet with Dr. Cooperman and a few other surgeons before making my decision. Everything about that initial visit was enough for me to look no further. He immediately put me at ease while discussing options. Throughout this process, which included a single mastectomy, DIEP flap surgery and a lift, Dr. Cooperman has displayed superb skill (minimal scarring, less than my c-section!) an awesome bedside manner and is always a phone call or text message away. I have already sent him one referral and would not hesitate to send him more.

Dr. Cooperman is an A+++ plastic surgeon. He not only displays a suburb combination of medical and technical skills, but is a surgical artist as well. And lastly, he is simply 'nice.' For five years, other plastic surgeons refused to take on my medical case, but he did and I could not have been more pleased with results.

Ever since high school, I wanted a breast reduction. I constantly complained about back pain, the struggle it was to work out and most importantly, not being able to fit into any bra/shirt. My mom was always on board with me getting one done but certainly wanted me to be old enough so I didnt regret it in the long run. Ive been a DDD since 16, and as I got older I just started to hate them more. Fast forward, Im 21 now, and about 4 months ago I took it upon myself to look up PS so that I could finally get rid of my breasts. I came across Dr. R Cooperman and in a matter of minutes, I was on the phone with them (due to their positive reviews) I wanted to meet with him as my first choice. I had my consultation the following week in which my mother also came with me. After sitting with Dr. Cooperman for about a half hour reviewing and answering all of my questions and concerns; and also how the procedure would work, I knew that I found the perfect PS. My mother absolutely loved him just as much as I did. He was wonderful to speak too and really cared for his practice. Fast forward another few weeks, my surgrey was set for September 22nd, 2017.. Im offically 1 week post op and Im in shock with how great they turned out to be. The day after my surgery, Dr. Cooperman even called me personally to check on how I was doing and I truly appeticated that. I couldnt stress it enough to him that I wanted to be a size B cup, and not only did he accomplish that, he lifted them just to my liking. Im so pleased with the surgery and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing PS. His staff is always so friendly and treats you definitely like family the moment you walk in the door. Dr Cooperman is the best!! I found out that I tested positive for the BRCA1 gene last year. I decided to have a double mastectomy surgery with reconstruction. Dr. Cooperman was highly recommended to me by my OBGYN Dr. Kieser who I absolutely love and respect. From the first visit with Dr. Cooperman I felt like he was the plastic surgeon I was looking for. He was so nice and knowledgeable about the reconstruction process. He's honest but also very compassionate. His office and staff are also very comforting. Dr. Cooperman thought it would be in my best interest to perform a, 'nipple sparing surgery' fist before my double mastectomy surgery. Which was a breeze! He preformed a beautiful breast lift on me and the recovery was minimal! I would highly recommend any woman thinking about a breast lift to see Dr. Cooperman asap! I have my double mastectomy with implants surgery scheduled for this November. There's no doubt that Dr. Cooperman will make this surgery another success! Dr. Ross Cooperman saved my life. He is an outstanding doctor and an amazing man. He truly cares about his patients well being. After undergoing a breast reduction, the pathology from that surgery found invasive lobular carcinoma. My breast surgeon at that time, suggested that the best treatment for me was to wait several months and keep watching and monitoring everything very closely. Dr. Cooperman felt very strongly against waiting. He believed that the best course of action should be a double mastectomy. He urged me to set up an appointment with Dr. M. Michele Blackwood. He held my hand and I called her from his office. I was so nervous and scared. I had no idea which path to go down, but I knew I felt comfortable and believed in Dr. Cooperman.I was right to trust him, he had my well being at hand. I met with Dr. Blackwood and she also strongly believed that the best way to handle my case was to have a double mastectomy. In the end, it saved my life because they found an enormous amount of lobular carcinoma in the tissue that was removed in the surgery. If Dr. Cooperman had not intervened and disagreed with another doctors diagnosis and treatment plan, I would not be here today. I was not just another patient with Dr. Cooperman. I felt that I was treated like a member of his family. Dr. Cooperman, I owe you my life and words cannot express how much I appreciate everything you have done for me and my family.
