Dr Snyder is great. Ive been a patient 15+ years. This last time checking in the ladies seemed all concerned that I wasnt showingup as active in the Aetna system. They kept wanting to make it my problem. Atrium Health just the day before accepted the card and it worked. Plus the front desk acted like my virtual card online was the first if its kind. If someone had bothered to check my records they might have figured out Ive never owed a balance longer than it took to receive a bill I didnt appreciate being treated like a Medicaid or person without insurance coverage. An I service on how patients are also customers might be in order. Please do not respond to me with covid PPSD is better than that. CBones

I had three biopsies conducted during a patient visit at Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. Although I did not have issues with the services rendered, they failed to advise about the insurance implications of the diagnostic laboratory they use, Aurora Diagnostics. Piedmont stated they accepted my insurance for their services but I was very surprised to receive over a $1000 bill in the mail for laboratory services. I believe Piedmont should have better prepared me for laboratory costs and had me follow-up with the lab prior to my examination and procedure. It appears as long as they are compensated by you or your insurance company they do not care about any additional costs. I further learned, through my insurance carrier, that Aurora Diagnostics' costs are very high for evaluating tissue samples. All around the experience was a negative one. I should add, Piedmont failed to return my call when I questioned why they did not better prepare me for lab costs. I would not recommend Piedmont Plastic Surgery & Dermatology to anyone needing dermatological services.

The Dr. spent about 5 minutes with me; it was extremely rushed and impersonal. It didn't feel like they cared about my concerns or questions...recommended treatment was exorbitantly expensive, especially since nothing required a prescription. I will not be returning.

Instead of sending me a bill in the mail or trying to contact me about billing via my email or phone number, they instead sent the bill to a collections agency. Very strange. Dr. Fraser seemed like he didn't really want to address my concerns and even incorrectly stated two ingrown hairs were moles after glancing at them for a second or two, no exaggeration. Turns out later they were, in fact, ingrown hairs as I'd suspected them to be. I was hoping to work together with a doctor to better understand why (emphasis on why) I began to suddenly have issues with acne, as I know there are different possible causes, but he didn't want to discuss it at all and instead just insisted on me using benzoyl peroxide. I wanted also to get to the bottom of the strange bleeding under my skin and accompanying pain and be evaluated for possible vasculitis. A friend of mine who's a doctor overseas had seen many pictures of it and after talking about it, they suggested it sounded like vasculitis or some sort of bleeding disorder and said I needed to see someone sooner rather than later. Well, Dr. Fraser was going to brush this off too had I not insisted with a bit of force on a biospy. He then agreed and said the next time a bleeding mark, ie petechia, forms, to call in and an emergency appointment can be made that day. The assistant who was present at the time of my appointment with Dr. Fraser, however, was great. After he quickly left, I asked her some questions I didn't get to ask him and she answered them with knowledge, care, and humor. Within a day or two, more bleeding occurred and I called in, as was instructed, and the person who picked up was very accommodating and got me an appointment that morning within a couple of hours. I was set up with Dr. Snyder, who did an excellent job with diagnosis and removal. After talking with me about vasculitis, he asked me questions about my health in general and suggested I be looked at in the future for autoimmune diseases, especially lupus. Dr. Snyder was the kind of holistic, engaging doctor I'd been hoping for from the beginning. When I almost fainted right in the chair after the removal of the petechia, the staff were very responsive and caring, and helped to make sure I felt 100% before leaving. After encountering Dr. Snyder, I felt sad I would be moving soon. If it were not for the bizarre billing incident and Dr. Fraser's abrasive nature, this would have definitely been a five star rating.

Had the exact same procedure done twice. With the exact same insurance. In the same month! I checked with my doctor before both procedures on pricing with my insurance. The first one was $130. I paid in full. The doctor persuaded me to go to plastics for the 2nd one due to their comfort levels. (Doctor insisted both office sides were the same price) So instead of a total bill of $320, it was $785! Not to mention my willingness to pay an extra $60 copay the 2nd time. Guess who got screwed with NO APOLOGY!? I would have been with this place going on 3 years. False claims are NOT taking care of your patients!I cannot express how much I felt slapped in the face! Ive never left a negative internet feedback anywhere before! Terrible way to treat a good person.

Lifelong experience with Dr. Fraser of the highest possible care quality and his nurse Tracy also. Expertise, technical skill and up to date knowledge matched by total compassion, great communication and treating you as a person and not a number to be rushed through make this team the very best. Cannot ask for more anywhere! PPSD are so lucky to have them on board. My husband and I would follow Dr. Fraser as patients anywhere. They deserve 20 gold stars, . My highest rating. It's been a couple months since I seen Dr. Snyder but as usual him and his staff are very pleasant. Janice greeted me with a very delightful joyful smile. Every time I come in my brain tends to get fried but he always knows what I am talking about. I left today's visit very happy knowing Dr. Snyder is confident in my progress. After taking a friend of mine to see Dr. Snyder and see how he cares for his patients, the time he dedicates to make sure they understand their diagnosis, I made a decision to change my dermatologist and come to see Dr Snyder myself. He has a great team throughout the office. Janice is fabulous, provided me with samples so I do not delay my treatment until my prescription is ready. I was referred to Dr. Snyder for a cyst on my back. I really liked Janice, she was very nice and sweet. As for Dr. Snyder he did not waste no time he looked at my back told me it was a cyst and recommended I have the cyst removed before it became inflamed and infected. I also love the fact that the plastic surgeon that a friend has recommend to me is part of this practice. I will be sure to recommend my friends and family to Dr. Snyder.

The front desk staff are very unfriendly and do not seem to want your business at all. I was told by my insurance company that I shouldn't have to pay anything, yet they argue that I do and say they are on the phone with my insurance company for over 20 minutes trying to figure it out. When I ask a lady at the front desk if I can be seen without paying the copay since my insurance said I do not have one, she says no and I ask why. She says it's company policy and then turns her head to talk to someone behind her while I'm still at the desk. I definitely do not recommend this place if you want a doctors office that values their patients.

I am very please with all the process. My native language is Spanish, and I love the fact that I was able to make my appointment, and check in in my language. I even got more comfortable when the nurse spoke Spanish. I speak English but the medical terms are hard. I was very please with the Doctor, he was able to understand my situation and I feel he is giving me the best advised to help me. Glad I found this office.

I like the idea that this office has Spanish speaking staff. I know enough English to get by but when it comes to my health I like to have things explained in Spanish. The nurse was very pleasant and she explained to me the things that made my condition worse. I like how the doctor did not mind giving me the Sam,e medications he had given me a year ago since they did help. They are a great staff and would recommend them to my family and friends.
