I am unsure how they ever received lower ratings. I went today for the first time and had a great experience. The entire staff, including the doctor were fantastic. I felt welcomed, not rushed and they took time and care to answer all my questions.

Theres too many PAs not enough doctors. They never answer the phone or return your calls. It seems like every time I call theyre at lunch or its Friday (the are closed on Fridays) what got my to write this review was the fact they never sent my husbands prescription like they said they were. Now Im having a difficult time tying to get a hold of them. It shouldnt be this complicated.

Apparently they never seen a single father with custody. Everyone had no problem talking to the mom and showing her everything and talking to her like i didn't exist . I didn't even get a second look. Smh guess only moms matter In this place.

As a former healthcare worker for 30+ yrs, plenty of specialists to compare to, Dr. Loy and her team are nothing short of 5*, starting with Tracy at the front desk. They are caring, personable , compassionate and you never feel rushed. I walked in the Hampstead office with an acute problem about a month ago, with hopes of possibly being worked-in vs scheduling an appt. Tracy took time out of her busy afternoon to go back and speak with the provider, came back to tell me yes they could see me. Thank you Marjene for taking time to see me, in all my years I have never heard of or been a patient of a dermatology office that could accommodate me the way Summit Dernatology did at the Hampstead office. The idea that Tracy cared enough to ask the provider speaks for itself. Thanks for all you do, you sure have the bragging rights for jobs well done, Kelly Elson

3 stars because I love Dr. Loy, but the wait times are atrocious, and the fact that the place is saddled with Physician Assistants is sorely disappointing. Buyer beware, PAs have never dissected a human face before. PAs have not done a residency. They have their place in healthcare for sure, but not in Dermatology. Secondly, waiting over an hour for a simple injection is just down right unacceptable for a satellite office. We refer a lot of our own clientele to this practice, and will now think twice about considering the lack of consideration for patient wait times and down playing the expertise required for skin health and care.
