On behalf of my mother.... she's always been pleased with the thoroughness in the staff's examination and their caring attitude. The entire staff and optometrist are friendly and professional. They've been helpful in managing 3 eye medications and stress the importance of calling the office when you're running out before the mail order timeline. No need to worry if you need a referral or another opinion from a specialist/ eye surgeon. Their response to your particular eye disease is appropriate and responded to in a timely fashion.Highly recommended.

An appointment was made very quickly, but traffic challenges made me late for the scheduled appointment. The nice receptionist called me to be sure I could make it, and they worked me in as soon as I arrived. The experience was so good, I hesitate to go to another one of their offices, because they made my experience such a wonderful one.Highly recommended!!

Nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Geerts and the staff at Wilmington Eye. The staff is very thorough and explains exactly what is happening, etc. My husband and son also see Dr. Geerts and we have all been very pleased.

We have been here for years. My daughter was seen yesterday and the Dr that she had (always has) was extremely rude. Not only was she rude to my daughter, she was rude to my Aunt who had to take her because I am home with a broken leg. We cancelled next years appointment and I will be taking her to a different office. Her behavior will not be tolerated from my direction. There are too many eye care facilities to have to be seen there!

Was seen in Hampstead office the last 2 times, wanted to acknowledge how disappointed I was to hear that Pam Tolley was transferred to the main office as she has so many regular patients that came to Hampstead to get their glasses/contact lenses. The other employees is Brooke, she remembered me from my 1st visit with Dr. Jenkins in 2016 in the Southport office. She was very compassionate, could tell I was nervous/concerned about my condition, made me feel at ease, took her time, very professional and knowledgeable.She brought me back today at my appt and actually remembered me, hasn't changed a bit, what a true asset for this practice. She does not make you feel rushed, addresses any concerns before seeing the physician.I am sure their are more patients that would love to have Pam back in Hampstead, Trysten is a very nice young lady.

Overall Worst eye exam experience. Staff are rude. Communication With office is subpar and they lost a lens so we had to wait longer for glasses. I dont normally write reviews but highly do not recommend them.

This was my first time visiting this office in Hampstead. I generally don't like going to the eye doctor; the drops and the pressure test always make me nervous! The assistant I had, I think her name was Kristy, made me so comfortable! She was great explaining every step to me, even holding my eyes open when I couldn't!

Not impressed and probably won't go back. The doctor and several staff members had no bedside manner and were borderline rude. They also wouldn't write a contact prescription without a 'contact fitting' which was nothing more than the doctor looking at my eyes with the contacts in even though it's the brand I've worn for 10+ years and have no issues with. The 'contact fitting' isn't covered by insurance and costs $60. What a scam. I could've looked past that if it wasn't for the overall atmosphere- I felt like I was an inconvenience to them for coming to my appointment!
