I had met with a few other plastic surgeons before meeting Dr. Angeles. I did not feel comfortable with any of them. I went to meet Dr. Angeles the gals in the office were all so friendly the main receptionist Kelly was amazing she had spent so much time explaining everything over the phone not in a hurry and squeezed me in for an appointment as soon as she could. I could tell she really cared about my situation. Then I met Dr. Angeles who I really liked right from the time I met him. He was very nice and explained everything to me and how my procedure was going to be done. I just really liked his demeanor all the way around. I chose him to do my surgery. He did a fantastic job a lot more complicated than originally thought .But with all that in mind he did everything the way he said he would. Everything turned out perfect. I would recommend him to anyone considering a Plastic Surgeon he is the best. I will be having him do my next procedure for sure. I trust him and prefer only him. I also know a few other gals that have had Dr. Angeles do there procedures and they were extremely happy with the outcome. Check him out first he is the best in town as far as I am concerned. There is not a more conscientious, caring, and talented surgeon in Central Oregon than Dr. Angeles. I had surgery shortly before moving back to Bend in November, and developed post-surgical complications once I was here. I couldnt start a new job and was down for the count. Dr. Angeles agreed to take on my case, and has cared for me through a second surgery and more post-surgical care splendidly. He genuinely invests himself the well-being of his patients. Do not go to Bend Plastic Surgery! Please read my story and be cautious about who you trust with you body. Thanks to the negligence of Dr. Angeles at Bend Plastic Surgery, I have lived without one of my breasts for almost 2 years now, wearing a heavy, uncomfortable prosthesis on that side causing me unending embarrassment (as a single woman) along with should pain from the weight of the prosthesis.. It has been nothing but misery and my new surgeon is not sure if the damage caused will be reparable. My story is below. I went to Bend Plastic Surgery for a breast augmentation in 2013, thinking by the name, they must be trustworthy. After having kids my breasts were saggy and I wanted the fullness back. I had surgery scheduled and everything seemed fine, until a few weeks in I started feeling terrible pain, as one of my breasts became very infected. I later learned that this was due to the poor surgical and recovery practices used by Dr. Angeles. I had to wait 3 months through the pain to have the the infected implant removed and replaced. During this surgery, Dr. Angeles cut corners by using the SAME implant that caused the original infection and put it back in. Again, sending me home without having completed the surgery properly. I have been told by numerous plastic surgeons that the way this was done was not by the books and should have been handled entirely different. Again I was living with constant pain and a breast that was inches higher up than the other one. After fighting with Bend Plastic Surgery, Dr. Angeles refused to cover his work, even though he claims that 'this is a one in a million case'. Clearly it happens enough that he will not stand by his work. I have spoke with other women in town who have had similar experiences with him and have been informed that lawsuits are pending against their practice. After having spent over 12k, I'm still struggling with embarrassment, shoulder pain and trying to come up with additional funding that I had not budgeted for in order to get a new implant in. If this surgery does not go well, both will have to be removed as the body cannot keep battling the same problem without resulting in permanent issues.You don't get a second chance at plastic surgery and there is no way to have justice done against these surgeons, as you sign your rights away upon consenting to surgery. Please choose carefully!
