Had BA in 2015. My symmetry was perfect prior to the surgery, said the doc. After a month, and two months, etc, one side became uneven with the other. He said its normal, and to give it time. Six months later he measured and said my nipples were only 3 mm different, and that no one notices 3 mm. 4 years later theres at least a half inch difference in the alignment of my nipples. Its noticeably different and Ill never go back to him. Im currently searching for a surgeon in Dallas to correct the botched surgery I received. I highly recommend shopping around.

My Rhinoplasty Experience: Beautiful Results. Brilliant Surgeon.My nose had a pronounced and bulbous tip that had a midline crease from split cartilage. I am a physician myself and have been involved in countless cosmetic surgeries, as my specialty is anesthesiology. I consulted with plastic surgeons I work with, but ultimately did not feel comfortable with proceeding. On a strong recommendation, I scheduled a consult with Dr. Maggi because he does the best rhinoplasties and his noses come out beautiful. The initial consult was lengthy. My face was photographed from every angle, both natural and smiling. He then printed out full 8x10 pictures and taped them up on the wall. He wanted to fully understand what I was wishing to change and took extensive notes, marking up each photograph. He took measurements and examined my features carefully. Then, he discussed his potential approach tailored to my specific anatomy. He explained and drew pictures of what he was planning to accomplish and what features he expected to be able to change. All the while, he would continually ask for my input and check to make sure his plan was in line with my wishes.Dr. Maggi was very careful to communicate the various scenarios he could run into surgically based on my actual anatomy (exposed during the procedure) and his approach with each scenario. He was realistic, laser-focused on every detail to achieve natural-appearing results.Im now 2 months post-op and I love my nose. Its better than I could have imagined. The tip refinement is perfect. No ball at the end of my nose or crease down the middle. When I look in the mirror, Im in awe of Dr. Maggis work. He is truly an expert and I feel so much gratitude for his careful consultation, individualized plan, and the end result. There is still minor swelling, but this is improving with time and healing.One final note. Several weeks ago, I had an appointment with a friend who is an ENT surgeon regarding some post-viral hoarseness. He was planning to scope my larynx and was prepping my nose with local anesthetic. I mentioned that he may need to be aware that I recently had a rhinoplasty procedure done. He laughed and said that he was just admiring the nice shape of my nose and was wondering how he'd never noticed this before. He was so impressed with how it looked completely natural and wanted to know who my plastic surgeon was. How is that for an endorsement?!Incredibly pleased. From start to finish. Dr. Maggi, his office staff, his office and surgical suite, the communication, the follow-up. All exceptional. 5 stars across the board.

My mind was further put to ease on the day of my surgery. The staff was very warm and friendly and highly competent. They treated me like a queen! I was referred to DR Maggi from a friend. After visiting several doctors I decided to go with DR Maggi. He was very straight forward and told you what he recommends and what he thinks is too much. I also like that he was part of the consultation instead of just talking to nurses. Prices were very reasonable and the office staff was so nice and very welcoming. I am a 39 yr old Mom of 3. Today is my 2nd day post op. I had a lift and an augmentation done. I feel great! I am able to lift my arms above my head and pull my hair up in a pony tail (which is huge). I had a tummy tuck done 7 years with Dr. Maggi and I knew I wouldn't have any other Dr. do my breast augmentation. The pain I have is more soreness.. I don't feel any pain from my incisions. I went in for a scar revision consultation and Dr. Maggi was the most rudist doctor I have ever met. He treated me as though I was not worth his time. If you are looking for good bedside manner, you will need to look else where! His staff was kind, but I feel very sorry for them. Not only does he not get my recommendation, but for years I will tell this negative story about his lack of care.

I had a lump growing out of the center of my forehead. The more it grew the more I would catch people staring at my forehead instead of looking into my eyes during conversations. I went to my primary doctor who described it as a Lypoma, a fatty tissue that can easily be moved around but is usually benign. However, he declined to do anything do to the fact the area where it was located is full of nerves which control facial expressions like smiles and frowns. He suggested a plastic surgeon. Now I've work my whole life in engineering where you learn all you can about a problem before you try to devise a solution. So I began my research. I found that the only sure way to get rid of one of these fatty tumors is to surgically remove it. There are other procedures but their success rate is far below surgery. So now to find a good doctor. My thoughts were that this was going to be costly as insurance won't cover most cosmetic surgeries. That didn't matter as the bump grew every time I looked in the mirror. I made several calls but finally decided to try Dr. Maggi to see if he would take me as a patient. Dr. Maggi has a great reputation and after looking at is credentials and his website, I thought he may find some time for me.I set up an appointment and when we met I was immediately glad I had picked him. He was very through in his evaluation and what needed to be done. He also knew the intricacies of keeping the nerves intact to preserve facial expressions. He worries about how you feel. He answers questions you have and he asked questions that allow him to understand your needs. He documents everything in notes and photography. To me, he seemed like another engineer working on a solution. When I asked him the cost, I was very pleasantly surprised at his figure. It was far below what I thought it might be. As expected the operation was successful and I can still raise my eyebrows and frown. After the operation I was asked to return on two more occasions to insure the scare had been minimized and that everything was healing normally. Today, people have stopped staring at my forehead and you cannot find a mark where he made his incision. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend him

Dr. Maggi and his staff were so friendly. I first went in for a consultation for breast augmentation which lasted more then an hour. they were so extensive in the amount of information they told me and answered every question i could come up with. i was so happy that i scheduled my surgery in three weeks. the surgery center was nice and the staff were so comforting. next thing i knew i was waking up from surgery which lasted about 45 minutes and another 45 minutes in recovery. i had frequent appointments afterwards for about a month just to make sure everything was healing right and they have always been so welcoming every time i see them. Dr Maggi knows exactly what he is doing. it has been 6 months since my surgery and i have never been happier. Dr. Maggi is AMAZING! I have seen him for the usual Botox and fillers, but was bothered for years by a significant fat deposit under my chin. After getting to know Dr. Maggi and his staff over several appointments, I felt confident that he was the one to put my trust in. The procedure was incredibly simple, liposuction of the area under a local anesthetic. The worst of it was the initial injections of numbing medication - which is saying something considering what I had done. I felt nothing during the procedure and never even needed a Tylenol after! My swelling and bruising was shockingly minimal and my results are great. At two weeks post-op I have minimal swelling (MUCH less than the original fat deposit) and no bruising or discomfort at all. My incision site is about the size of an ant bite and you can't see it if I don't point it out. I couldn't have hoped for better! Dr. Maggi and his awesome staff made the process absolutely wonderful. It doesn't get any better than Austin Plastic Surgery Center!

After 5 consultations with our Austin area surgeons, Dr. Maggi and his team were the clear choice for my surgery. Don't pay for tons of consultations when Dr. Maggi and his team are the best. Here's what you can expect from your consultation: 1) Their facilities are clean, inviting, and tailored to giving you a great experience2) The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable3) Dr. Maggi provides realistic yet confident advice. He's a no nonsense kind of guy which is what you want in this situation. He takes the time to determine your expectations and then give you an accurate and honest opinion about how your expectations can be met, or not if that is the case. He's not one to tell you what you want to hear and trust me it's refreshing if you have experienced other plastic surgeons. My surgery included both actual surgery as well as Liposuction, which was the most terrifying for me. Honestly, it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I expected. The areas for Lipo were sore and bruised but the pain was no worse than the burn after a really tough workout. Post surgery you couldn't ask for more effective and accessible care. The staff made sure that they were available to me night and day if anything should come up or if I had questions. You won't find many Dr.'s offices that are willing to share cell phone numbers so that you feel comfortable. Dr. Maggi and his staff are genuinely invested in your health, recovery, and results. Also, I was back to work within 3 days. I took a long weekend and started back on Tuesday. It was much easier than expected. Now about my surgical results. I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. It was well worth the time, money, and slight pain (I can't say enough how mild it was). In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Maggi and his awesome team.

Not a day goes by that I am not happy with my decision to have Dr. Maggi perform my surgery. I believe that it is cases like mine that really speak to the expertise of a great surgeon. His perfectionism and compassion made all the difference in my surgery, recovery and feelings about it. I had implants almost 20 years ago (by another surgeon) and had developed a bad case of capsular contracture, following a mastitis infection after breast feeding. This hardening around the implants left my breasts deformed looking and had damaged a muscle. It was difficult to shop for clothes and I hated the uncomfortable feeling when trying to give my children and husband a hug. Because of my situation, I needed more tests which proved to be difficult to accomplish in the necessary time frame. It appeared I would not be able to have the surgery as scheduled in sufficient time prior to an upcoming vacation. Feeling very disappointed, I received a call from Dr. Maggi, who kindly listened and easily solved the problem. As scheduled, I had surgery in which Dr. Maggi removed the implants with the hardened capsule, replaced with new implants and gently repaired the damaged muscle. Following surgery, Dr. Maggi was just as meticulous about my recovery and it is clearly evident that he truly cares about getting the best results. His staff, specifically Kelly and Tricia also took great care of me and helped me feel comfortable with any questions or requests.I went on vacation feeling great and able to wear anything. My breasts are soft and look fantastic, better than I imagined. Even my sweet supportive husband, who never criticized prior to surgery, had to admit that hugging me feels much better now. I recently had my yearly gynecological exam at which time my breasts were examined. My gynecologist was significantly impressed with the results, explaining he could not detect any evidence of such an extensive surgery and muscle repair. Dr. Maggis thorough and gentle approach directly led to great results in my unique situation.

I went to Dr. Maggi for breast implants and rhinoplasty in 2013 and I'm completely disappointed in the results. For the 1st year after the surgery my nose was so swollen that I could barley stand to look at myself in the mirror (the surgeon that I'm visiting now believes that the cartilage that Maggi used from behind my ear was the reason why I experienced such terrible swelling). Like another patient noted, I expressed my concern to Maggi but was only met with a huge Ego and told that, and shown, that the hump was removed and therefore I should be happy with the results. NO, my nose is 10x worse than when I went in and I can't explain why but after I have corrective surgery I will know more. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend Maggi to anyone. His bedside manner is ego inflated and the results I've experienced are horrible. I cried nearly everyday for the 1st year and this is all at time when selfies aRe the biggest rave...I can't even stand to look at myself in the mirror.

My experience with APSC was amazing and my treatment from the staff was incredible! APSC made it so hassle-free. My appointments and surgery were all located in the same building and the staff was always friendly, helpful and informative. I had a lot of questions about, well... EVERYTHING! The staff was never impatient with me. They recommended and demonstrated breast massage after my augmentation. I can not stress how important this is and what a difference it makes. My recovery time was much faster and less painful than that of my friends who had the same surgery elsewhere. Not only that, I achieved much better results in a much shorter time period. I battled with the bump on my nose for years, and continuously judged myself in photographs. Upon my very first consult for tummy tuck/breast lift I was not impressed with his lack of bed side manor but, I figured hes a surgeon maybe it comes with the territory and his staff was unbelievably nice so why not give it a shot. Besides ,I don't necessarily need warm and fuzzy as long as he does a great job and the reviews for the most part were positive. I'm a very active person and in pretty good shape but after my children had loose skin on breast and tummy with the lil 2 month pudge that we all dread . It always bothered me because no matter how much you work out you cannot get rid of loose skin. Dr Maggi and his nurse assured me that after surgery my stomach would be flat and rock hard. He also notified me that without a breast implant my breast would not appear perky but, the skin would not sag any longer. I elected to go without the implant even still but, appreciated the warning of realistic results. I had my surgery Jan of this year and upon my many post op visits I always voiced I was not happy with the results of my stomach at every appt. The Dr and nurse both assured me to be patient and sometimes swelling takes longer than most. At my 7 month mark I even brought in before pictures to compare that besides the loose skin being gone there was no difference. Dr Maggi didn't even look at my pictures. He said he didn't need to see them that he already knew what I looked like and did it ever occur to me that maybe I had gained weight and that's why I wasn't happy with my results!!!! I might add this is not the case as I have even lost 3 lbs.I was totally taken back by his lack of concern ,acknowledgement or pride in his work. At this point I ended the conversation because I was so insulted and he clearly was not interested in making this right. Even his nurses acknowledged my concerns and voiced that they would talk to him and come up with a solution. I t has been over a month and I have not been contacted by anyone in Dr Maggis office. I even sent an email and still no response! It took a lot for me to write this review because I am in the health field as well and did not want to be 'that patient'. Overall after speaking to many friends Ive come to the conclusion that my concerns are valid and it would be an injustice to others not to share. Good luck

It has been 10 months since my procedure and I can not even begin to express my level of satisfaction with Dr. Maggi's work, his staff and of coarse my rhinoplasty results. He is so focused on and enthusiastic about his work it is easy to see why he is such an amazing artist. He not only made my nose look exactly as I had hoped for but also repaired my flow through each nostrile perfectly. The healing process was almost painless and there are no noticable scars. I really did not expect the excellent results that I got. I sleep like a baby now. Just as a warning make sure you schedule extra time for each appointment. Sometimes you don't get in or out ontime. This is more than understandable and completly worth it because you know he is giving each and every one of us his enthusiastic undivided attention that we deserve and not just checking his watch.
