Went in for the first time ever, to get Botox. I was already confident in the final results due to his 5 star reviews. Im big on reviews so I take that in account first before going with someone. But so I was nervous but not too much. Didnt hurt as bad as I thought it would. Going in for my eyes and cheek in June and Im excited! The results for my Botox happened 24hours and I was expecting 2-3 days so I was actually shocked to see first how fast it worked cause i dang sure didnt want to waste all that money I spent, and second I was shocked how well it worked. So yes I definitely reccommend and I will be going there from now on to get the young me back!!

I felt so comfortable and welcomed. My results: Better than I expected. Yes, that good! I noticed the results immediately. The pain was maybe a 2 on a scale from 1-10, 10 being extremely painful. I rarely write reviews but Dr. Yu deserves this 5-star review. Ive had Botox and filler injections from many plastic surgeons, dermatologists and RNs but Dr. Yu is THE stand-out fantastic professional. His injections were the BEST Ive ever experienced re effectiveness while virtually no pain or bruising around my eyes or anywhere he injected on my face! I was in shock because I thought the injections were always very painful and bruises common. I have severe forehead lines but Botox there always makes my brows droop. After I mentioned this, he injected a very little Botox in my forehead to soften the lines, avoid brow drooping while allowing some forehead movement. I was amazed as it worked perfectly! With Dr. Yus wonderful skill, bedside manner and honest feedback to my questions, I will continue to trust him for any of his services.

Dr. Yu and his staff are amazing! I have always wanted fuller lips but wanted them to look natural. I went in to see Dr. Yu and he really took his time to listen and assure me I would get the results I was wanting. I was also worried about the pain I would feel and afraid I wouldnt be able to handle it. Ms. Julia made sure I had nothing to worry about. She took me to the room, applied some numbing cream and then Dr. Yu performed his magic! In a matter of minutes the procedure was over and I had the results I asked for. As for the pain, well I can honestly say I didnt feel any. Now one of my top lips did slightly bruise but I was able to conceal it with lipstick. Two weeks later I am loving the result. Several of my friends have noticed something different but cant quite figure out what it is and that was exactly the result I wanted. I cant thank Dr. Yu enough for giving my lips a touch up!

I want to write this review to help anyone on the fence, about who to go to for surgery. The review is purely from me, and how heaven sent I feel Dr Kenneth Yu, & his wonderful Staff are!Im a male in my early 20s, & a professional. I set consultations with 8 plastic surgeons in town, - almost all of whom were just in it for the consultation fee.- not Dr Yu! He was at the top of my List to see. & who I wanted to operate on me from day one. His amazing reputation and incredible results separated him from all the others. From the moment I met him and his amazing staff, including Morgan (who is an angel!) and wonderful Sylvia they were all so nurturing and helpful. These are truly phenomenal people!Dr Yu, heard all my concerns and goals. He made me feel confident and was so understanding! I can't speak highly enough of my experience (and results!) with Dr. Yu. A bit of background--I am a nurse with a strong background in plastic surgery. Suffice it to say that I'm not only knowledgeable, but extremely selective with regard to whom I'll entrust my face. I live in the Austin area, but Dr. Yu came highly recommended to me, and it was well worth my drive to San Antonio! His office is beautiful, and his staff extremely professional, yet warm and welcoming. Dr. Yu also put me completely at ease, and I felt very comfortable with our communication and discussion of what I hoped to achieve. I had Botox and filler placed, and the injections were almost pain-free. Also of note, I have a history of easy bruising, and I had none after this, which was great. I look fresher and younger, yet still very natural. I highly recommend Dr Yu, and will definitely make the drive to San Antonio again!

Dr Yu is wonderful. I went in wanting fillers for an area, and he took my photos and showed me on the computer screen what it would look like. He then suggested an alternative and showed me what that would look like, which is what I choose. I appreciate his kind honesty. A friend was exploring a solution for another problem, and they were upfront that yes, it would work, but there are less expensive options they could provide. Dr Yu is very skilled and talented (being double board certified). The office and staff are also very welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I chose Dr. Yu because I Iiked that he was closer to the Leon Springs area instead of me having to drive to the Medical Center or Stone Oak area. When I went in for a consultation I felt very welcomed by the receptionist and Dr. Yu was very welcoming himself. He took photos of what I was wanting to get done and explained everything that he would want to do and see if I was on board with it all. I didn't feel pressured at all to make a commitment, but I knew I wanted to have the procedure done by him. I highly recommend him and of course I love the results. I'm still healing, but I'm very happy. He also had his receptionist personally deliver some beautiful flowers to my front door. I plan on going back to Dr. Yu for any further surgeries.

I wanted to improve the look of my protruding ears through the Otoplasty surgical operation for quite some time. I decided to do a consultation with Dr. Yu to learn about my options and to also learn more about the surgery I was wanting to have done. My experience with the doctor and staff was excellent. The office is super clean and also has a very welcoming design. Morgan at the front is also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The results are awesome. I feel so much better about myself and more confident overall. Im glad I did this surgery with Dr. Yu. Not much pain post-op. He was also very gentle when he was removing the sutures. Incredible doctor and staff overall. Im so happy that I went with Dr. Yu! I look better now, and when you look better, you feel better and when you feel better you tend to do things better. I must say I am not surprised with the 5 star reviews Dr. Yu receives. Unfortunately, for me personally it was not the experience I was expecting. Being in the medical industry for nearly 18 years Im very well aware of the importance of patient care. I must be clear, I was very pleased with Dr. Yus bedside manners and expertise. However, I couldnt help to feel a bit deceived by his surgery coordinator. Reason being, prior to scheduling my appointment back in May, I asked about the consultation fee...to which she explained it was $100.00, and in the event I would not go through with the surgery I would be able to use the $100 as a credit for future service(s) rendered. Well, after Dr. Yu confirmed my surgery was not cosmetic but a medical necessity, I then called my Insurance which to my surprise they would cover my surgery with certain rules to follow. I called and spoke to the surgery coordinator to let her know. Needless to say, she did not sound happy. She then stated she would verify with Dr. Yu if this would even be an option for me...I have yet to hear from her.

I recently had a photofacial here and a laser hair removal session on my legs and armpits. The whole experience was professional and I was made very comfortable during my sessions. The results are amazing! My skin looks effortless and fresh. Plus, Ive already noticed a difference in the thickness and slower growth in the areas where I got my hair lasered. I do feel that the laser works better as photofacial and hurts less for hair removal.

Behind La Gloria there is a plaza on the second floor is Dr.Kenneth Yu. The office is so neatly and very well decorated kind of reminded me of something you would see on Pinterest. Morgan, the receptionist in the front was very nice, answered all my weird questions, and professional. My reason for visiting was for lip fillers.* First timer* This treatment was not painful at all in my opinion. I love how Dr.Yu took his time and really studied the shape/size of my lips. Beauty with a Hammer

I turned 28 this year and started noticing that the lines on my forehead and in between my eyebrows were becoming more prominent even when I used makeup to try to cover them up. After doing research on botox injections, I choose Dr. Yu because of his experience. His staff was friendly and explained everything in detail. The process took 30 minutes from check-in to check-out. I love my results and plan on getting additional botox in the future to keep up my results.

Dr. Kenneth Yu is a wonderful doctor. He makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything he is going to do. I am extremely happy with the results of my lower eye, face and neck lift. The surgery went well, little to no pain and bruising. The recovery time was quick. I was out and about in one week. There are no scars from the incisions. I look natural, rested and relaxed. Dr. Yu is the first doctor I have received flowers from after the surgery. This was a pleasant surprise and this shows how much he cares about his patients.
