I first visited VCPS Dr Desmond and his staff in 2012 for a breast augmentation. During my consultation, Dr. Desmond was extremely professional, honest and kind. He offered me three recommended sizes based on my build and size goals. He was upfront and honest when I voiced concerns about the potential of going too large. He stated his only complaint from patients is that they wish they had gone larger. My surgery was a breeze and recovery was extremely short and effortless. I loved my results! As a matter of fact, I received numerous compliments on how natural they looked. Well, fast forward 8 years and guess what? I scheduled my appointment for a consultation to speak to him about the possibility of replacing my existing implants with a larger size. During our consultation, after listening to my desires, he stated that he could perform the surgery however there were some things he needed me to understand. He explained to me that if I were to go bigger I most likely will experience some sagging as I got older (currently 44) and that he was extremely satisfied with how the existing implants looked today. He informed me that if we were to go in and replace I potentially would be back within the next few years to replace and possibly need a lift. I was extremely please with his honesty and candor with my request as opposed to just trying to make the sale. He gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He is a true medical professional and very skilled at what he does. If you choose Dr Desmond you will be in good hands!

Dr. Desman performed gynecomastia surgery on me and the results are already incredible one month out from the operation. The pre and post operative procedures were clearly stated, so I was confident going into surgery.Also, his team in the office of Olga and Gina are the best. They are very helpful and very kind.

I did my own lip injections ( I know, horrible decision.. dont judge lol) and I was freaking out. I thought I was going to look like this forever. I had a lot of pain and looked like I had silicone instead of filling. Absolutely hideous. I called the usual place I go to .. they were charging me hundreds of dollars to fix the problem claiming they didnt have the right product to dissolve it and had to order it first. Others had appointments available in a month. Others charged consultation fees before booking an actual appointment. They made it seem like this was a complicated and impossible fix.Long story short, as soon as I called the office they asked for pictures and more info. They were extremely responsive and gave me an immediate appointment even though they were already booked for the day. The fact that the lady I spoked to empathized with me and did her best to make sure I was taken care of, tells a lot about this clinic. She was very reassuring which calmed my nerves And anxiety while waiting for the appointment. The doctor was honest, reassuring, and efficient during his procedure and he only took 10 min. I was scared about going into work or having my family see me like this but I had immediate results. Although my lips arent back to its normal shape (its only been 8 hours), pain has decreased significantly, bruising has gotten better, swelling has significantly decreased also, I can smile again, and it no longer looks unnatural. I saw a HUGE difference within the hour. I feel so alleviated. They also scheduled a free consultation in a couple of weeks for a follow up to make sure my lips heal properly. Im switching the doctor I had been going to for 4+years. When I called the facility Ive gone to for a couple of years now, they didnt have 10 minutes for me and were way overpriced for this process. Thank you Dr. Desmn and team. I will be a new loyal client and bring all my girlies to you.

Horribly unprofessional patient coordinator. Post-op care was dismal, zero follow-up. Dr. Desman and the receptionist are nice but the patient coordinator's unprofessional demeanor and outright lies made the experience very unpleasant and stressful, made worse by the fact that Dr. Desman knew and not once acknowledged or offered an apology for the impact of her behavior during the sensitive recovery period.

My breasts were a size 38H. I had upper back stiffness and pain all the time. According to my husband, Dr. Desman is a genius. I have small, comfortable breasts. My surgery was easy, recovery was one week. My scarring is better than my 15 year old thyroid scar. The scar ointment and care instructions were great. The office is always responsive and helpful. Thank you Dr. Desman!

Dr. Desman is honestly one of the best doctor whom I ever encounter. He has helped me get through my tendon which I damaged but he helped me healed it with time, dedication, and he is simply the nicest doctor ever!

I had some breast tissues for over 10years as a male, and it was always a challenge trying to go to the pool or beach...So i decided to have it surgically removed. At first i really didnt know where to ask, who to call, so i checked online for surgeons, reviews, and called couple of numbers to compare prices.From the beginning i was very impressed by VCPS, i was expecting them to be like yeah we can fix it, we can do whatever you want but instead they told me straight go first to your doctor and figure out exactly whats going on with that breast tissue, when its confirmed it is gyno call us back then i knew there are very professional, and not after the patients for the money. Plus they are not expensive! DR Desman is extremely skilled, and so confident that only talking with him will extinct all worries.The surgery itself was not painful as it was under general anesthesia, but the recovery the first few days and the compression vest was the hardest part.4months now from surgery and im very satisfied with the results! Now my chest look like a mans! I HIGHLY recommend whoever is seeking this surgery to give Dr Desman a chance and you will be as happy as i am! It is worthed 1000%

Not sure about the Doctors work since I never got past the incredibly RUDE receptionist named OLGA. I called for a consultation about an eye surgery and Olga ( the receptionist or scheduler) LAUGHED AT ME and stated I was too young for the surgery. She was not compassionate and down right judged me. She actually asked me to email HER a photo of myself so that SHE could judge if I was a candidate for the surgery. She reminded me 4 times of my age and continued to judge me. She is not a doctor and has no right to decide if I am a candidate for any medical procedure. I ended up hanging up and going with another doctor.

Dr. Desman performed breast augmentation and liposuction for me last month. From start to finish, I have been satisfied with my experience. At one of my first appointments, Amanda said she would hold my hand through the entire experience and she truly has. She has been available for all my questions andconcerns. I wanted to improve my eyes. I had bags and it made me look very tired. I chose Dr Desman based off his ratings and reviewing previous patient pictures. The process was simple and surgery took a couple of hours. Some swelling, but I felt great immediately following surgery. I love my new looks and I get complements on how bright my eyes look. The good people at VCPS changed my life with liposuction around my midsection. Im a young man getting married this year but have always struggled with an excessive spare tire, despite good diet and intense exercise. Dr. Desman worked some magic and now I have a trim and defined waist!! The team was much more responsive and helpful than the other surgeons I inquired at and made the process easy from start to finish. The industry can feel more geared towards women, but as a guy I felt comfortable here and liked the photo consultation that helped me figure out if I was a candidate. Now I feel so great about the way that I look, and its motivating me to continue working hard in the kitchen and gym now that my goal is in sight. I was really nervous before but the surgery itself was no sweat and I bounced back quickly. They are so helpful with all of my questions. The cost is transparent and reasonable. I have been going back and forth about breast reduction surgery for years. I have suffered from back and neck pain for SO long but the thought of surgery always scared me. I tried every bra and even lost weight, but the pain and discomfort never went away. When I finally decided to have the surgery, I did my research for the right surgeon and all roads lead to Dr. Desman. I chose him because of all the amazing reviews I read and they were all absolutely right.Everyone at VCPS was helpful and professional from the moment you call to set up the consultation (especially Martha being as though she answered my hundreds or phone calls and questions leading up to surgery). Dr. Desman focused on me and listened to everything I wanted. He was very thorough from day one and always made sure to explain everything, step by step, to me and my mom. He told me exactly what to expect when I got to the hospital all the way to how I would feel after the surgery. And on the day of surgery he was patient and walked me through everything again. Im currently 4 weeks post-op and I feel amazing! No sign of neck or back pain. I didnt experience any pain after surgery, just soreness, which is way better than I expected. Scarring is very minimal. You can tell Dr. Desman took his time and was extremely neat. I feel so free and I would 100% do this again. I cant give enough thanks and praise to Dr. Desman and his team at VCPS for changing my life!! Thank you!

Great group. I would recommend them highly. I had Breast Augmentation, outer thigh lipo due to thigh shape differences and axillary breast tissue removed from both armpits.The process was very efficient. I have been so happy with my results. I will definitely go back to Dr Desman if I have any more procedures, contemplating tummy tuck and inner thigh lipo.

I wanted to have a bump on my stomach from my previous lipo surgery smoothed out. I chose Dr. Desman because he provides Safelipo procedure that can correct un-even surface from previous Lipo procedures, Hes the only one who provides this procedure in Washington DC. The process went well. I am so happy that my bump is gone. I recovered very quickly compared to my previous surgery. Within 2 days, I could move around by myself, no bruise. It has been 3 weeks, my stomach is still sore, little hard and swollen. Even with this condition, I can tell its a big improvement. I think it will look at least 90% satisfactory,

After doing my research, I decided to do an consult with Dr. Desman. My experience was excellent. He explained everything in full detail. Dr. Desman performed liposuction my thigh area. Unfortunately, he was just not experienced or skilled enough to handle this tricky area and the results were lumpy and saggy. I am now unable to wear a bathing suit or shorts and my self esteem has suffered to much that I don't feel comfortable dating anymore. Dr. Desman attempted to fix it with a second surgery (he only charged for anesthesia) but was unable to make the area look better, I even went to another plastic surgeon to see if anything could be done to fix the botched surgery but I am stuck with this. I know this was an elective procedure and the results were not guaranteed. However, I really wish that Dr. Desman would have just admitted that he was not the right person to perform this procedure, or at least been more up front about what the results could be. I am now left with a deformed body for the rest of my life and a sincere wish that I had never met this man.

My experience with Dr.Desman and his staff was horrible. I had a breast reduction in August 2015 and everything was fine until January 27,2016. I tried to talk to his Adminstrator Penelope about my bill, she failed to send me a bill in the mail. She was verbally intimidating on the phone and was very rude and unprofessional. She told me I could not make an appointment to see Dr.Desman until my balance was paid in full. I asked to speak with Dr.Desman about my health issue that I have and she would not let me talk to him. I called to make a follow up appointment with Dr.Desman because I was concern with a lump underneath my breast and his Adminstrator Penelope failed to give me an appointment until I paid $360. As of today 2/1/16 I got an email from Penelope saying Dr.Desman no longer wants to deal with me as a patient. Dr. Desman failed to call me about this matter and my health. I would never recommend a doctor who only looks at money. Never trust a small office to help with your health needs. Dr.Desman do not care about his patients. Dr. Desman is unprofessional and his staff is unprofessional. Don't ever go to this office in Arlington, Va!!

This is my second experience with Dr Desman. I originally chose him to remove my implants of 9 years becasue I was just not happy with the look. I researched seveal PS before settling on Dr. Desman.After my removal, I returned a year later after weight loss and muscle toning. My poor breast were just skin and very little fat - therefore I decided to have my implants replaced. I know I presented a difficult case to Dr Desman; multiple implants (in/out), a scar from a mastitis, and lack of breast tissue. As always, Dr. Desman was truthful and straight forward, which is why I chose him the first time. He made me aware of my options and helped me make an informed decision.After talking to a previous patient and researching, I selected silicone. Wow! I must say I am extremely happy with the results for the first time, I totally love they way my breast look. I feel as though Dr Desman listened to me and cared about the outcome! My decision to use Dr. Desman was the best ever. I have recommended him to several friends and would not trust another PS.Thanks you very much for giving me my 'Sexy' back - okay you improved it a great deal! lol
